Online Therapy Makes Getting The Help And Support You Deserve Easier Than Ever |

If you’d have told me in Spring, 2020, that I would come to love online therapy and actually prefer it to in-person sessions, I would have laughed in your face. In fact, my partner did mention this possibility to me that spring (he and his damn optimism) – I distinctly remember it, because I did in fact laugh in his face. As it turns out, I actually didn’t not like online therapy. I just hated working from a corner of a bedroom in my house, while feeling as equally terrified as all of my clients because of a brand-new, raging global pandemic. Because, yeah, it was a lot, all around. But online therapy itself? Turns out, it’s great! So great, in fact, it's what I now offer exclusively. |
The research into it has consistently found that in many cases online therapy works just as well as in-person therapy. And in some cases (such as the type of work I do), it often works better.
